And the last five years and COVID defiantly changed my thought process around trading my time for money. By 2015, The Girl Boss Movement was in full effect, and women were finding their places as entrepreneurs, and black women “WE” went in headfirst. Then bam, COVID hit. Now think back to your business at that time and how COVID affected the business. Did you just dig in harder to try and get back on top it just seemed so damn much. Think about you are at the Gala you are dressed to the nines and then all of a sudden, you got to go back and wait in line again. Well, we said forget that and for once took a real chance on us. I don’t know if it will all work out, but what I do know is that if I don’t find a way to really breathe, I am going to die. Healing is hard but so is misery.
